Christ In You...Live It!

It's interesting to me how a people react to a demonstration of heavenly power or authority in Christ. Some are freaked out and their minds reject it. Some are offended. Some are encouraged. Etc etc.

Well, I am a regular guy, nothing special about me. I have flaws, I have a relationship with the Lord, we are growing together, the Lord and I. But the fact that I'm a mere man with struggles and challenges like everyone else does not mean that I am to leave the preaching, the bold faith, the loving on humanity, or stepping out in faith to believe God for big things to someone else lol.

CHRIST IN ME, the hope of Glory! (Colossians 1:27)

Bottom line, if it's in the bible, I believe it. Just because things that we read in the bible are not main stream or "normal" in our society doesn't mean they weren't originally intended to be so (i.e. Speaking in tongues, miracle healings, being able to have joy in any circumstance, biblical prosperity, etc, etc)

Anyways, if 1 person who reads this is encouraged to take yourself out of the equation and LET GOD BE GOD in your life, then, this was a success.

Do you have sin in your life? Do you struggle with certain areas of your life? Well, go your way and SIN NO MORE, resolve in your heart to live PERFECT, of course. But don't stop laying hands on the sick! Don't stop pouring your heart out to the Lord! Don't stop loving on people! Don't stop preaching the word of God! The Lord uses people my friends, and guess what, "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) :-)

The Lord died so that we could live SIN FREE by the power of the Holy Spirit, but a life waiting until you feel your perfect and ready to step out will end up being a wasted life... Be Blessed!

Let's Be Honest...

Psalms‬ ‭51‬:‭6,
"Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts..."

Laymens translation: The Lord desires that we be honest with ourselves and with Him! He desires TRUTH within us!

***Let us accept this once and for all: The Lord knows the areas in our hearts and lives with which we struggle.***

He knows what is going on in our hearts before we confess it to Him. Pure relationship with God understands this vital fact and it does not ignore this elephant in the room! It does not seek to hide as Adam & Eve did in the garden. A pure heart before the Lord cries out to the Lord that the areas with which we struggle be confessed to Him and furthermore, that the areas deep down that only the Lord can reveal be made known to us SO THAT we can CHANGE and continue on in this glorious maturation process, which is a walk with the Lord.

We can see this as we continue reading Psalm 51,

Verses 7 & 10-13:
"Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow...Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee!"

Oh what a glorious revelation this is to understand that our God desires that we first be honest with ourself and with God about our own hearts and lives. From this place of understanding we can then begin to mature and transform from glory to glory in this amazing walk with the Lord (Romans 12:2, 2 Corinthians 3:18).

Pour out your heart before the Lord and watch as His loving embrace carries you to realms of maturity that you never new existed!!

Psalms‬ ‭62‬:‭8‬ KJV
"Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us!"

We love you!

Spiritual Appetite

Spiritual appetite: if we spend the majority of our week neglecting our daily bread (Word, prayer, fellowship with the Lord, fellowship with a community of believers, etc.) it's inevitable that our hunger for His presence will diminish. We will begin to no longer crave the things of the Spirit but rather crave the things of this world. We will make excuses why we're not running after God.

Hunger MUST be cultivated! It doesn't grow on trees lol. We must crucify our flesh daily and do those things that are spiritually profitable if we are serious about maturing in Christ and walking in all He has for us!

Where is your hunger at?
Do you long for G.O.D. or for H.B.O.?

Like the great preacher once said, "Worldliness dulls your affections for God." - Smith Wigglesworth

Colossians 3:1-3 NKJV
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Love you all!
